SFE Generation 1

The device shown in the image is what we refer to as a 1st-generation SFE device, or Gen 1. While Gen 1 was a step forward, it still had issues that needed to be resolved, which led to Gen 2.

 

The Gen 1 work was extensive and looked very promising. It can generate thrust, but it simply did not meet our final goals.

Many people have designed similar devices, and all have fallen victim to the inherent limitations of this approach.
